The Eurasian Economic Community
The Republic of Azerbaijan can join the project of container train "Viking" operating on the route Ilyichevsk (Ukraine) - Minsk (Belarus) - Klaipeda (Lithuania). The combined train “Viking” was launched in 2003. Its total route length is 1,733 kilometers. The train runs through Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania thus connecting a chain of Baltic region marine container and contrailer lines with a similar Black, Mediterranean and Caspian Seas system.
