The meeting of Kazakhstan and Lithuania railway projects group
On the 9th of August 2012 the director of Kazakhstan’s representative Office for Baltic countries and Western Europe Mr. Sergej Dmitrijev and the director of Kazakhstan’s company „Kaztransservis“ Mr. Rustem Zhumataev visited Lithuania. VPA Logistics organized a joint meeting in the conference hall in Klaipeda where quest from Kazakhstan and chief manager from Lithuanian Railway Company and from VPA Logistics as the operator of container train project “Saule” took part. During this meeting the protocol between Lithuania and Kazakhstan concerning the strengthening of future cooperation in transportation of loads, the future development of project “Saule”, the solving the problem of high tariffs of railway transportation through the territories of Belorussia and Kazachstan and the possibility to establish joint Lithuania-Kazakhstan company for railway transportation projects was signed.
